Check out the article on one of our newest projects - Shields Health Solutions Specialty Pharmacy. Located in Cleveland, TN, the project began as a warm dark shell in an existing building. Sandwiched between two medical clinics, the pharmacy fulfilled a need for the community. The design focused on coordinating finishes with those in the adjacent clinics, while also creating the pharmacy's own identity. We also focused on the efficiency of the pharmacy, centering around the ordering process, fulfilling prescriptions, compounding and proper storage of the medications. Due to the nature of what a pharmacy contains, safety was also a concern. That was handled through discreet methods that offered security on many levels, while not taking away from the design of the space or the employees' work environment. Both Shields and Erlanger teams were excellent to work with - we could not have asked for a better client and are proud of the end result! #architecture #interiordesign #healthcaredesign #chattanooga #healthcaredesign

Our newest medical office building has finally opened in Gahanna, OH. This project embodies our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and creating spaces that enhance patient care and staff efficiency. The two story building houses multiple tenants, including Vive Vascular - the first outpatient facility dedicated to vascular health and provides each company the flexibility to expand. Artech is excited to announce that Joshua Rudisin has joined the firm as a Project Manager! He was a part of the Artech team back in 2015-2016 and we are thrilled to have him back! Joshua earned his degree from Virginia Tech in 2004. That summer, he moved to Chattanooga to begin his architectural career. Before rejoining the Artech team, Joshua honed his skills at various Chattanooga firms. His primary focus was on commercial retail and mixed-use spaces, and he also gained valuable experience in the custom residential market. With two decades of experience, Joshua believes that design transcends aesthetics; architecture is a force that reverberates through the built environment, impacting humanity's well-being. Currently, Joshua is serving on AIA Chattanooga executive committee, AIA TN State board, and actively mentors with the ACE Mentorship program. When not immersed in design thought, Joshua can be found on local biking trails, walking his dog, watching his son play soccer, or baking cakes in his kitchen. As Karan embarks on her journey of retirement, we reflect on the invaluable contributions she made to Artech. Karan brought not just skills and expertise with her when she joined Artech, but also dedication and passion that inspired us all. Over the years she has formed strong relationships with our clients and helped bring ideas to life through creating beautiful, functional spaces. As Karan transitions, we are excited to announce that Kacee Brown will be stepping in as our new Lead Designer! Kacee has been with Artech since 2007 and has since been involved in many facets of design. We are confident Kacee will continue to help build our interiors department and our team will thrive under her leadership! We look forward to this exciting journey ahead with Kacee guiding us towards continued growth and success.
