Produced this AI music track in minutes, which led to my current sentiment: I’m as confident as much as the results are impressive that musicians will continue to play a strong role in society. Why? Because people crave human connection, which leads to more powerful connections with their music. It’s the same reason why so many talented musicians (and other creatives like actors) don’t achieve big career success, while a few do. For some reason or another, the latter were able to break through & connect with audiences at scale. Of course, there will be some successful AI musicians, but not at the expense of human musicians to continue to connect with audiences & achieve success, IMO.
