The National Menorah has evolved over the years, but one thing has remained constant: the building of it is a family affair. WTOP's Scott Gelman spoke with Art Display Company's Casey Kilsheimer about the construction of the National Menorah and the family that puts it all together. Say hi to Kahlua—a 14 year old Art Display Co., employee who gets paid in cookies and frequent elevator rides. Know what else is frequent? Study after study suggesting that pets at work drastically improve employee health by reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, and increasing social support. The Human Animal Bond Research Institute's research shows improved cohesion, trust, and cooperation in groups with a dog present. #Woof #artdisplayco #petfriendly #workingdog #dogsofinstagram #dogstagram #signs #awnings #signshop #coldnose #architecture #fabrication

We are extremely excited to announce the transition of Art Display Company’s leadership as company President, Doug Kilsheimer, steps into the role of Chairman of the Board, and passes on the roles of President and Vice President to his children, Casey and Brandon. Reflecting on the transition, Doug stated that "The timing is right... Passing this torch to my kids is a moment of immense pride. Casey and Brandon both have the tools needed to keep this engine running for generations to come.” Please join us in congratulating both Casey and Brandon!

“Happy are the painters, for they shall not be lonely. Light and color, peace and hope, will keep them company to the end of the day.” - Sir Winston Churchill ——— An artist, a husband, a father, our former Vice President and so much more. Our dear Arthur, the most colorful soul we’ve ever met, dedicated his life to Art Display for nearly 50 years. Without him we will never be the same, but with him we remain forever changed. Until next time our dear friend. We will leave the lights on for you and your green tea and Fritos will be waiting 🎨

We’ve had the amazing opportunity to work with McCormick Spice for a number of years now. The parallels in history are pretty incredible: McCormick Spice: Started by 25 year old Willoughby M. McCormick in a basement cellar in Baltimore, Maryland. He sold his initial products door-to-door which included root beer, flavoring extracts, fruit syrups, and juices. Art Display Co.: Started by 24 year old Gunther Kilsheimer in the attic of a butcher shop in Washington, DC. On Christmas Eve of 1947, Gunther went door-to-door selling hand painted seasons greetings window graphics. McCormick Spice- thank you for your continued partnership 🎨
