关于我们

ArtCracker is an application that makes discovering a new city through art more convenient. Art Cracker recognizes paintings, architectural structures, and city monuments selected by the user during their museum visit or city stroll. By pointing the smartphone camera at a painting, architectural structure, or monument, the application not only identifies the object's name and its creator, and provides a brief narrative about it, generated by neural networks. There is also an option for automatic translation into some languages and conversion of text format into audio. Our mission: We aim to make self-guided museum visits and the exploration of city buildings and monuments an accessible and engaging. Through the use of AI, we strive to enrich the museum experience for visitors of all ages, without language barriers and the need for additional devices.

ArtCracker is now on Patreon! Exciting news: we are on our way to build a whole new system for becoming more inclusive — but we can't do this alone. So, we decided to start a crowdfunding campaign to speed up our plans to run the world! Step 1: Becoming more inclusive with Text-To-Speech! Why do we need text-to-speech in the ArtCracker App? Let's look at the benefits: 1. It helps us deliver the content to people who have a hard time reading the explications in museums. No more bending over to try to read this offensively small font. Simply snap a pic with the painting/sculpture you're trying to recognize — and ArtCracker will tell you everything you need to know about it in a pleasant voice. 2. It serves as a substitute for museum audioguides. On average, In Europe you will pay at least 7 EUR for each audioguide in a museum. With ArtCracker you can hear everything about the art you see absolutely free! To launch Text-To-Speech we are raising $2000 at the moment. On Patreon, you can support us monthly, and there are two tiers to choose from: 5$/month: 400 donations of $5 each will help us add text-to-speech and become more inclusive for those who want to hear our guides! With a $5 per month you will get access to: - all updates from the team - our favorite art memes - most recent art updates. 10$/month: 200 donations of this level will help us implement text-to-speech recognition 2x faster! Help us become more inclusive for those who need audio guides for their favorite art pieces anywhere in the world! With this level of access you get access to: - all of our posts - interviews with team members - most recent updates from the art industry - insights into our startup journey - our favorite art memes every week - personalized email from team members monthly Sign up to our Patreon via link here: patreon.com/ArtCracker

?? Why ArtCracker is Better than Apple AI for Art Lovers ?? Apple just launched the iPhone 15+ with Apple AI, but ArtCracker remains the better choice. Here’s why, according to our CTO Ivan Utenkov and the team: 1?? Works on Any Device: Apple AI is limited to iPhone 15+, while ArtCracker works on almost any device. No need to buy an expensive phone – we’re here for everyone. 2?? Spotlighting Hidden and Emerging Art: Apple AI mainly references open sources, which often leaves out lesser-known artworks. ArtCracker has a different mission: we shine a light on new and emerging artists, small museums, and underrepresented art. We digitize these pieces, gather unique information, and upload them to our growing database. Our app helps you discover art that would otherwise remain hidden. 3?? Personalized Art Stories (Coming Soon!): We’re working on tailoring the art descriptions to your specific interests. Whether you’re a child, an adult, a casual art lover, or a professional, ArtCracker will soon be able to provide stories that resonate with you personally. 4?? Completely Free: ArtCracker is a free app! You can enjoy it without any cost and choose to support us with a donation if you like. Meanwhile, the new iPhone is not something everyone can afford. 5?? More Accessible Now: While Apple AI will only be available in select locations initially and may take over a year to come to Europe, ArtCracker is already accessible to anyone, anywhere. At ArtCracker, we’re committed to making all art accessible, no matter how hidden or unknown. ??

ArtCracker went online: here's what came out of it ArtCracker is all about discovering new places, so we thought what better way to suggest installing ArtCracker than going out to the streets? What we did: we printed out 200 posters with the QR-code to download ArtCracker, both for iOS and Android. What we got out of it: 200 scans of our QR code in the first week we printed them out A spike in downloads from Hungary which keeps on going Mentions in the local chats — we love to get the conversation going! Some of the posters already got turned down — so we will replace them soon enough, but for now: what do you think about offline promo? Would you try an app that caught your eye?

Are donations a good way to touch on traction? We believe so — and here's why. ArtCracker is now completely free to use, which is made on purpose. We believe that right now we're looking for the correct product-market fit and we are on our way of developing all the features we need to become the best app we can be for our user. So, why donations? Well, two reasons: feedback and traction. Feedback: our "Buy me a coffee" service is a goldmine of useful feedback for our developers. Whether we did a great job on recognizing a mural or a painting, or we missed something very important — our donors will let us know immediately. We take everything into consideration — and as soon as we see a complaint there, we work on solving the issue. Traction: since we don't have in-app purchases (for now) it's important for us to understand, are the users ready to pay for such a product? So, we decided to provide this opportunity but make it voluntary. Is is a perfect way to measure traction? Of course not. But it gives us an estimate and access to talk to people who are ready to donate. And we do that daily! So, our Buy me a coffee is a way to support the team, let us know what needs improvement — and of course, to stimulate the production of new features. You can support us too, here's a link to buy us a coffee: https://lnkd.in/dey9bkYF

?? Weekly News from the ArtCracker Development Team ?? 1?? This week, we had the pleasure of meeting with Mikhail Lifshitz, CEO of the Voxtour.ai project. Voxtour.ai is revolutionizing how we explore the world by creating interactive, voice-guided tours. Learn more about the project here: [https://voxtour.ai]. We realized we face similar challenges and agreed to support each other whenever possible. Such meetings are always inspiring and energizing! Check out Mikhail's profile: [https://lnkd.in/d69Mg59A] 2?? Our co-founder Evgeniia has embarked on an exciting journey by enrolling in the "Launching a Startup" course for tech entrepreneurs, designed by Igor Peer and supported by the Israeli Ministry of Economy. The course will conclude with a pitch session in front of peers and investors in 12 weeks. So, we’re heading back to school this September—with great enthusiasm and for the benefit of our project! Learn more about Igor here: [https://lnkd.in/dVfhnptU] 3?? Finally, our entire team is back from vacation, and we're diving into the preparation of the new version of our app. Expect a more user-friendly interface, additional language options, and improved functionality for existing languages. Plus, we’re adding a highly requested feature—it’s a secret for now, but stay tuned! 4?? Part of our team is currently focused on enhancing the texts generated by our app. We’re experimenting, enriching our database, and refining our quality criteria. We’re also considering the optimal length and content of these texts. If you have any suggestions, please share them in the comments or send us a message—we’re eager to improve for you! 5?? We're also working on developing a trust rating for the sources of information we use and thinking about how best to present this to our users. We want to ask you: If an object in our app is a "starred task," would you like to be informed that we aren’t entirely certain about the answer, but we have a well-founded assumption? Let us know your thoughts! ?? As we dive into new challenges and exciting developments, we are reminded that every small step forward contributes to the bigger picture. We are grateful for the support and collaboration within our community, and we look forward to sharing more progress with you soon. Wishing you a week full of creativity, growth, and success! Let's keep moving forward together! ?? Have a great week ahead! #ArtCrackerUpdates #StartupLife #TeamWork #NewFeatures #TrustInArt #UserFeedback #TechEntrepreneursh

The startup path is not for the faint of heart — so we asked our cofounder Evgeniia Bereza to tell us more about how her journey shifted from a successful career in institutions to an adventurous startup route. Enjoy! From Institutional Career to Startup: Staying Sane and Adding Value to the Startup Fire Making the transition from a large company to a startup is, without a doubt, a leap of faith—faith in yourself and in the people who share your vision. It's certainly unfamiliar to no longer have the solid backing of a well-established institution. It's like going from swimming in a training pool, where there's always a rope to hold onto, to being in the open sea. But the thrill of swimming in the open sea is incomparable—it's all about freedom. However, it's crucial to remember that it's the skills of a good swimmer that keep you afloat, even in open waters. For me, those skills are what my experience in a large institution has instilled. In a startup, everything happens here and now, and even the smallest decision can change the course of development. I feel more vulnerable, yet incredibly free from any pressure. What helps maintain balance? The ability to learn quickly, stay flexible, and, of course, belief in the team. And what can institutional experience bring to a startup? Structured approaches to content creation, attention to detail, a well-established network (a massive support system), and the ability to work within a schedule. These qualities help create stability amid chaos and drive the startup forward. #startup #transition #entrepreneurship #ArtCracker #freedom
