A highly experienced leader in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, Luis brings over two decades of expertise across diverse manufacturing industries, the automobile industry in tier 1 and tier 2 customer and supplier sites. He has implemented various major Kaizen projects utilizing the Toyota Production System, streamlining operations in both union and non-union environments, domestic and international, and across single and multi-site settings. Most recently, Luis served as Director of Operations for American Industrial Partners (AIP) and has held interim plant manager roles in multiple AIP portfolio companies, establishing Lean transformations, plant realignments, and contributing to new investment agendas. He’s also led greenfield start-ups, transformed brownfield facilities, and managed relocations and closures. As VP of Operations for Fleetwood RV Inc. and Director of Manufacturing and Lean for Collins Bus Corporation, both AIP companies, he achieved significant productivity gains, on-time delivery, and reductions in working capital. With Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership, he excelled in Lean and Six Sigma implementations through the GROWTTH Program. Luis is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean System Master Black Belt.
