The MPCSCIG (Muslim philanthropy and civil society common interest group) was founded over six years ago by MPI’s director, Dr. Shariq Siddiqui with Dr. Zeeshan Noor, Ph.D. serving as its first chair. Dr. Samir Abu Rumman and?Dr.?Sabith Khan, Ph.D.?Khan were also a part of this initial group. Today, the group has grown to nearly 100 individuals who come together at the yearly ARNOVA conference to share a meal, catch up on each other’s projects and identify opportunities for collaboration. This year, over 60 members of the group attended the annual dinner on November 21st at the iconic Busboys and Poets restaurant in?Washington?DC.
