I loved emceeing the 4th annual Accelerate Investor Conference Gala awards dinner. What a great event and venue Army Navy Country Club. The Gala was the culmination of 2 days of inspiring pitches and content. So great to see so many incredible and promising companies. Last night, I had the incredible honor of welcoming my dear friend and mentor, Patrick King, CCM, CCE, ECM, to speak to our Virginia Tech MSBA: Hospitality and Tourism Management Masters Class. Patrick was my very first boss at Army Navy Country Club (ANCC), and from day one, he’s been the guiding force behind my career. His wisdom, leadership, and friendship have shaped not only my professional path but also my personal growth. I am beyond grateful for his constant support, and watching him share his expertise with the students last night reminded me why he’s truly the best at what he does. Thank you, PK, for always being there and for continuing to inspire me and so many others. You’re a legend! ??

We are pleased to share the success of our recent annual flu shot clinic, an event we proudly offer each year to our dedicated team members. Ensuring the health and well-being of our staff is one of our top priorities, and providing easy access to flu vaccinations is just one way we strive to maintain a healthy workplace. By keeping our team protected during flu season, we not only promote individual health but also contribute to a happier, more productive work environment. It’s another great morning at our Arlington Campus, with the sunrise behind the flagpole and the early light brightening up the building. The scenic surroundings make it a fantastic place to start the day and get to work. We are truly fortunate to work in such a wonderful and picturesque setting, making each day not only productive but enjoyable as well.

We recently held a CPR training session for our staff, and it was a great success! Not only did everyone learn valuable life-saving skills, but it was also a fun and engaging experience. We love seeing our team come together, support each other, and build stronger connections through training like this. It’s always rewarding to watch our staff grow and work together to ensure a safer environment for everyone.

Last night, we hosted our Annual Membership Meeting to a full house, marking a special occasion during our centennial year. The event required extensive preparation, but our dedicated team was more than happy to put in the effort to ensure it was the best experience possible for all attendees. As we celebrate 100 years of excellence, we remain committed to delivering exceptional events and look forward to continuing to serve our members with the same passion and dedication.

We recently hosted an unforgettable Build-A-Bear event at the club, designed especially for families with young children. The night was brimming with joy and excitement as kids and parents alike enjoyed the unique opportunity to create their very own custom stuffed bears. From picking out their furry friend to adding the final touches, it was an experience filled with laughter and creativity. This event was made even more special thanks to the innovative thinking of Anna-Rose Cuccias, our Assistant Banquet Manager, who came up with the brilliant idea and oversaw every detail to ensure it was a success. Her dedication and creativity truly shone through, making the evening a memorable one for all who attended. We're so proud of the team for bringing this event to life and can’t wait to host more family-friendly activities in the future!
