Today, we heard 15 outstanding pitches from companies advancing innovations in regenerative medicine. Each company had 7 minutes to deliver their pitch, followed by a Q&A session with investors, industry peers, and business leaders. Attendees cast their votes for the winning pitch, which were tallied during the final panel of the day: 'Capitalizing on Innovation: Investors’ View of the Biofabrication Industry.' The day concluded with Jeremy Hitchcock and Harrison Spalthoff of Millworks Bio Fund presenting the $100K investment check to Joe Connell, Founder & CEO of NuEsse Inc. NuEsse Inc. specializes in regenerative skin therapy designed to address the unmet needs in various wound treatment scenarios, including decubitus (bedsores), pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, biopsies, MOHS surgery, chronic and acute wounds, and burns. Congratulations to Nuesse Inc., our runner-up companies, PRO Therapeutics and Asclepii and all the companies that participated in today’s event!
