Today, we heard 15 outstanding pitches from companies advancing innovations in regenerative medicine. Each company had 7 minutes to deliver their pitch, followed by a Q&A session with investors, industry peers, and business leaders. Attendees cast their votes for the winning pitch, which were tallied during the final panel of the day: 'Capitalizing on Innovation: Investors’ View of the Biofabrication Industry.' The day concluded with Jeremy Hitchcock and Harrison Spalthoff of Millworks Bio Fund presenting the $100K investment check to Joe Connell, Founder & CEO of NuEsse Inc. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Breakthrough T1D Greater New England walk last Saturday. We had a picture-perfect day for a beautiful 5K walk through the Millyard. Representatives from the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) | BioFabUSA including Executive Director Dean Kamen, inventor of the AutoSyringe insulin pump, were volunteering along the route and participating in the walk. Members of our education and workforce development team were also on-site with their portable biofabrication station!
