The Armistead family has been providing mechanical construction and contracting services to industrial and commercial clients throughout the New Jersey/New York area for more than 95 years. Armistead Mechanical is one of the largest employers of plumbers and pipefitters in New Jersey and the New York Hudson Valley region. Our expertise lies in industrial and process piping, fabrication and installation, plumbing, HVAC design and installation, temperature controls, and preventative maintenance services for projects of all sizes. Our mission is to meet and exceed expectations for safe, exceptional and efficient service and provide reliable, state-of-the-art mechanical systems. We utilize innovative technologies and design capabilities, and rely upon our team of highly-skilled industry veterans. We approach projects with dedication to integrity and quality, and with the flexibility to overcome unforeseen challenges. On Thursday, December 5th, 2024, some of our dedicated field personnel participated in an essential Adult First Aid, CPR, AED training session at our Waldwick, NJ headquarters. Led by our Safety Team, this training is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our team. Our employees learned vital life-saving skills, empowering them to respond effectively in emergency situations.     ???Celebrating Future Leaders in Mechanical Engineering!??? We were thrilled to host students from Fairleigh Dickinson University at our Waldwick, NJ headquarters for an insightful presentation and tour. This visit, in conjunction with the MCA of NJ, was an honor to share the rich history and innovative capabilities of Armistead Mechanical, Inc., a family-owned and operated company. The Armistead Family has been in continuous business since 1917 beginning as Robert Armistead Plumbing and Heating Company in Jersey City NJ. Our team, including Bryan Armistead (VDC Manager), Eric Evans (Chief Estimator), Jorge Tapia (Project Manager and FDU Graduate), and Matt Weiss (VDC Detailer and FDU Graduate), provided an in-depth look into our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) department. The students gained valuable insights into our cutting-edge technologies and methodologies that drive our success. We were also pleased to have Allen Owens from MCANJ in attendance, adding to the depth of industry knowledge shared during the event. The event concluded with a tour of our offices and shop, showcasing the heart of our operations. We hope the students left inspired and excited about the future of mechanical engineering. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success!
