Linden Lane Apartments on Macon Hwy are being built! Once finished, the building will contain 8 units including both 3 and 4 bedroom floor plans. AMT provided the architectural, civil engineering, and MEP work needed for the property, and we can’t wait to see it finished!

We want to take a moment to celebrate our architect Lidia as she has spent 1 year at AMT. After visiting her siblings in the US, Lidia officially moved from Indonesia to Seattle in 1998 and settled in Georgia in 2007 where she furthered her career and built her own homestead. She enjoys the variety of projects she gets to work on at AMT such as the Delta Zeta Sorority house, Covington Community Center, and many multi-family residences. She looks forward to coming to work every day as she enjoys contributing to the Athens community by using her skills and expertise. We appreciate Lidia and all the hard work she puts into each and every one of her projects.

Our Architects and Engineers were excited to work on this adaptive reuse project to transform this building into Athens’ newest inn. We provided Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Site Design services for the seven original and four additional rooms which highlight its historic charm. Happy St. Patrick's Day from Armentrout Matheny Thurmond!

The 2025 ASCE Student Symposium was a great success. AMT is honored to have sponsored the Muddy Waters Competition and be given the opportunity to work with the dedicated students who competed from 19 universities throughout the Southeast. Our very own Yubil Tejada, AMT Intern and ASCE Georgia Chapter Internal Vice President, spoke to the attendees. Many thanks to Stephan Durham, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE for bringing us on to get involved.

Briarcliff Phase 3 construction is well underway, and we’re excited to see this project come together. AMT is providing architectural, structural, MEP and civil site design services to create the space that will house 5 brand new tenant spaces.

AMT is excited to announce it will be a sponsor of the ASCE Southeast Student Symposium taking place for the first time this year at the University of Georgia. The symposium will allow over 600 students to get hands-on experience through competitions and workshops as well as professional development and networking opportunities. We are excited to get to invest in these future civil engineers and see their passion for the field.

We are excited to announce we will be repurposing an apartment complex for Alpha Xi Delta at UGA. We will be providing both architectural and engineering services to remodel the buildings while preserving their historical elements. This home for Alpha Xi Delta will include a new chapter room, dining room, study rooms, a large foyer, a house director’s quarters and a conference room in addition to the apartments. We look forward to working with Metal + Petal to bring this vision to life.
