With our 2025 President, Dr. Aida Bareghamyan!
Last month marked a meaningful transition in my journey with AESA. As part of the organization’s natural evolution, I completed my term as President—a demanding yet deeply rewarding volunteer position. While I cherished every moment of my tenure, this transition allows me to focus more on my professional role as an engineer while also dedicating my energy to learning objectives, student projects, and potentially publishing papers.
Since January, I have been prioritizing personal growth—spending more time reading books, articles in hardware engineering and broadening my overall knowledge—an effort that directly enhances my work and strengthens my expertise.
Looking back on my time as President, I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished as a team. Together, we increased membership by 22%, launched AESA’s flagship mentorship program, secured more grants than any other year, established two new university/college branches, reactivated three previously idle ones, and organized over 20 events. These milestones reflect not only the dedication of our volunteers but also the strength of our community and the incredible team I had the privilege of working with.
It has been an incredible journey, and I am confident that AESA is in the capable hands of Dr. Aida Bareghamyan, a steadfast and visionary leader who will guide the organization to even greater heights. She was the best Vice President I could have asked for, and I am forever grateful for her support and dedication.
A big thank you to everyone at Armenian Engineers & Scientists Association for an incredible year! For all their support. It was an honor to serve.
As I transition into this next chapter, I look forward to continuing to grow in my roles as an engineer and Lecturer, fully immersing myself in the work I am most passionate about.
