    Northeast Tech Bridge, working with partnership intermediary 401 Tech Bridge, the Office of Naval Research and NavalX - Tech Bridge Network, has issued a multi-phase Prize Challenge - called BlueTIDE - to identify technological solutions to monitor and protect undersea critical infrastructure. The challenge is open until April 14. This effort will expose industry to specific, current Navy technology areas of interest and provide small, non-traditional businesses an opportunity to experiment in operationally relevant conditions using real-world scenarios related to monitoring and protection of undersea critical infrastructure. Companies with top-scoring technologies will be awarded approximately $7,500 and will be invited to participate in the culminating in-water experiment event on Aug. 28. Up to four companies with top-scoring technologies will be awarded a total of $200,000, however the government reserves the right to make more or fewer awards, based on rubric evaluation scores. Participants may be individuals or teams comprised of small businesses and/or academic organizations. Eligibility is subject to verification during each phase and before award of any prize.
