Looking to serve the homeless in our community? Join the Arlington Life Shelter as a Food Team and provide a hot meal to 100 neighbors in need. This is a great opportunity for small groups to come together and make a direct impact! Each group is responsible for recruiting their own members and for purchasing the food for their meal. Last night, our families enjoyed a fantastic field trip to the River Legacy Nature Center for Healthy Families Night! We had an amazing time exploring local wildlife, learning about nature, and visiting the exciting Bug Squad Exhibit. A special thanks to United Way of Tarrant County and Arlington Highlands Rotary for making this event possible and to Dental Health Arlington, and Open Arms Health Clinic for providing valuable education and basic health screenings. Together, with the support of our wonderful community, we’re keeping our families happy and healthy as we work toward self-sufficiency

With freezing temperatures moving into the metroplex, The City of Arlington and the Arlington Life Shelter are working together to provide resources and get individuals off the streets during this critical time.
