It’s been our privilege to work with Arkansas PBS Broadcast Information Systems Analyst Kelly Richardson for 20 years! Kelly serves as the bridge between two worlds: information technology and video. Over the past two decades, he’s seen a lot of changes as broadcast technology has moved from analog to digital video and, now, into the IP-based video world. We’re grateful for Kelly’s dedication and enthusiasm at Arkansas PBS and in all he does! Whether he’s cheering on his favorite teams, gaming or acting in his most important roles as an adoring dad, grandpa, father figure and rescue dog-lover, Kelly always gives 100 percent. Congratulations on your 20th anniversary with Arkansas PBS, Kelly! It’s a true pleasure, and we’re looking forward to many more.

Members of Arkansas’s congressional delegation will be moving into key leadership positions. On “Arkansas Week” tonight at 7:30, we discuss that process with Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Washington Correspondent Alex Thomas and independent journalist Steve Brawner. Then, with two coal-fired power plants scheduled to close in coming years, there are concerns that other energy sources are not yet in place to fill the state’s energy needs. To discuss that, state Sen. Mark Johnson, Arkansas Advanced Energy Association Executive Director Lauren Waldrip and Audubon Delta Policy Manager Glen Hooks join us.
