Yesterday was full of recognitions by the State Board of Education! The board first recognized Dr. Phong Tran, the Marvell-Elaine School District superintendent, on being the first educator to achieve the Provisional Professional Administrator License through an alternative route. Congratulations, Dr. Tran! The board also approved a resolution recognizing January 2025 at Arkansas School Board Member Recognition Month. Vice Chair Kathy Rollins read the resolution at the Arkansas School Boards Association Conference.
