This funding—achieved through collaboration with MEMS, ARDOT, Faulkner County, and Pulaski County—will be a game-changer in advancing construction and safety on the Southwest Trail in Pulaski County. The grant will fuel impactful upgrades: ?? High-Speed Intersection Enhancements: New warning systems to reduce accidents on high-speed roads. ?? EMS Vehicle Safety Alerts: Improved technology to alert drivers to approaching emergency vehicles. ??♀? High-Visibility Crossings: Enhanced pedestrian crossings on the Southwest Trail to ensure safe passage for walkers, cyclists, and all trail users.
