The National Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (NAFEPA) recently honored the 2025 State Leadership Recipients for their outstanding dedication to federal educational programs and service to children. Arkansas recipients recognized at the NAFEPA 2025 National Conference in Washington, DC, included Terry Darnell (Green Forest School District), Amy Robson (Flippin School District), and Amanda Bittle (Bald Knob School District). They are pictured below with NAFEPA Board members Kimberly Glass (Springdale School District) and Lea Metcalf-McDonald (Texarkana School District). Additionally, Lauren Juhl, a senior at Maumelle High School in the Pulaski County Special School District, received the John A. Pfaff Scholarship of $2,500 and a $1,000 scholarship from the Arkansas Association of Federal Coordinators. She is also the first Arkansas recipient of the NAFEPA Scholarship. Congratulations Lauren!
