We are grateful to announce that Arkansas LAUNCH, a groundbreaking, skills-based workforce platform developed in partnership with the State of Arkansas and supported by Walmart, officially went live last week! This innovative tool, Arkansas’s instance of RIPL’s DOORS tool, is designed to empower jobseekers by connecting them with career opportunities based on their skills, while helping employers find the talent they need quickly, easily, and for free. We were honored to see Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders introduce LAUNCH to an energized crowd during a press conference in Benton, where she highlighted its role in expanding access to opportunity, strengthening Arkansas’s workforce, and positioning the state for economic growth. None of this would have been possible without our incredible partners at the Arkansas Department of Transformation and Shared Services, especially Robert McGough and Heather S., whose leadership and vision have been instrumental in bringing LAUNCH to life. Arkansas has been an unparalleled partner in demonstrating the art of the possible, rethinking how government services can better serve constituents by starting with workforce development. In December 2024, the state’s civilian labor force rose by 2,544 with 1,487 more Arkansans employed in the state. Compared to December 2023, there are 34,626 more Arkansans employed throughout the state.

In December 2024, the state’s civilian labor force rose by 2,544 with 1,487 more Arkansans employed in the state. Compared to December 2023, there are 34,626 more Arkansans employed throughout the state.

The December labor force and jobs report shows Arkansas still has its foot on the gas! Over 2,500 Arkansans joined the civilian labor force (CLF) last month, with 1,487 additional employed, making it the 10th consecutive month for the CLF and employment to hit record-high levels.
