"Teaching is a profession, and no other process embodies that belief like National Board Certification," Daniela Robles, NBCT and executive director of the Arizona K12 Center, shared with the candidates gathered at today's National Board Kickoff. These teachers are voluntarily committing their time and energy to bettering their practice. The growth they experience from the National Board Certification process will benefit their students, but as Jacquelyn Fabian, NBCT, of National Board for Professional Teaching Standards also shared this morning, "Board certification will change you." Congratulations to all these candidates beginning or continuing their National Board journey!

National Board Certified Teacher, Keynote Speaker, Host of The 30 Minute PD: A Podcast for Busy Teachers, Life-long Learner
Extremely grateful for the invitation to be the closing keynote speaker at Arizona K12 Center National Board New and Continuing Candidate Kickoff on Saturday. I wouldn't have wanted my first keynote speech to be anywhere else! Thank you Jessica Jaeger, NBCT, M.Ed for taking pictures! The Arizona K-12 Center has been the go to place for the majority of my professional learning opportunities and supported me during my entire National Board Certification journey. If you would like to help the center in its effort to support educators’ professional learning, in turn, benefiting Arizona’s students, please consider donating at https://lnkd.in/gvEFtAfg

National Board Candidate Support Providers, NBCTs, and district leadership, there are just a few more weeks to update us with how your district provides support for National Board Certified Teachers and candidates. This information helps us advance National Board Certification across the state and allows us to recognize those districts most committed to this powerful work! Contact Program Director Donnie Dicus at [email protected], or CSPs can check your email for how to provide updated information. (Pictured are Nancy Pratt of Buckeye Elementary School District, one of the Arizona districts with the greatest financial commitment to National Board Certification, and Beth Blankenship of APS and the Arizona K12 Center's Board of Directors at the 15th Annual Celebration of Accomplished Teaching.)
