2025 has jump started and session is in full swing! The House Health and Human Services Committee will be hearing HB2001 on January 27th at 2:00 PM. We encourage everyone to voice their SUPPORT of this bill as it will help address the severe behavioral health provider shortage Arizona is facing. HB2001, would allow recent graduates the opportunity to enter the workforce sooner upon graduation by way of temporary licensure as they complete the final steps of getting licensed. By adding more qualified graduates to the pool of providers, access to quality care is expanded to those in our communities who need it most. Please, make sure to contact the committee BEFORE 2:00 PM to urge them to vote YES on HB2001. ***If you have a Request To Speak (RTS) account, please also take this opportunity to sign on in support of SB2001.
