The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is an aggressive economic development organization focusing on advancing the state's economy through the recruitment of quality companies and jobs for the state of Arizona as well as the expansion of companies already doing business in the state. The ACA is overseen by a public-private sector board comprised of Arizona leaders in business and policy. The board is chaired by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs. Joining the governor on the board is a group of prestigious private-sector business leaders, elected officials and university presidents.

Congrats Recurrent Energy on its largest energy storage facility, Papago Storage, in Maricopa County. The project will produce enough power for nearly 48,000 homes enabling renewable energy to further power Arizona's growing economy!
“Projects like this are going to help close that gap in the generation demand that we have.” –Arizona Corporation Commission Chairman Kevin Thompson shared at a ribbon cutting ceremony at our Papago Storage facility yesterday. We are thrilled that three of our facilities totaling 1,800 MWh of storage and 150 MWac of solar capacity will soon be online supporting Arizona homes and businesses through our landmark partnership with Arizona Public Service - APS. Energy storage and solar are helping utilities serve their customers with affordable power and also making the grid more reliable and secure.

Arizona’s partnership with Taiwan represents one of the most important international collaborations in the world. This week, we were proud to strengthen these ties on a trade delegation to Taiwan led by Governor Hobbs. We had the honor to meet with President Lai Ching-te, Minister of Economic Affairs Jyh-Huei Kuo, and other key government and industry officials. We were also immensely grateful to meet with TSMC global leaders including Chairman C.C. Wei at the company’s Taiwan headquarters. TMSC’s historic $165 billion Arizona investment will cement Arizona’s legacy as North America’s premier semiconductor manufacturing hub, and we were pleased to affirm our ongoing and steadfast support for TSMC’s success.
