Keeping the Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix isn’t just about baseball—it’s about jobs, small businesses, and the economic future of downtown. In his conversation with Mike Broomhead on KTAR, Danny Seiden explains why HB 2704 is a smart investment—not a subsidy—and why failing to act puts Arizona at risk of losing more than just a team. ?? A big thank you to Administrator Zeldin and Senator Mark Kelly for bringing a bipartisan, solutions-focused approach to the table—working toward policies that balance air quality protections with economic growth. The Arizona Chamber of Commerce & Industry was honored to host a mtg today between industry leaders and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) new Administrator Lee Zeldin. The issues covered in this meeting have been discussed for over a decade, and having the Administrator here in person was helpful and would not have happened without the leadership of our Senior Senator Mark Kelly , Arizona Governors Office Gov. Katie Hobbs, Arizona State Senate President Warren Petersen and many more. Around the table was a mix of industry leaders, various government officials from all levels and parties, former Governor Doug Ducey , economic development leaders like Greater Phoenix Economic Council ‘s Chris Camacho , the Arizona Commerce Authority , Arizona Public Service - APS , Salt River Project , Freeport-McMoRan , TSMC , Intel Corporation , Arizona Rock Products Association , Arizona Trucking Association , Centuri Group, Inc. , Southwest Gas Corporation , Tucson Electric Power , CalPortland , James Murphy - Wilmeng, Arizona State University , Snell & Wilmer , Senator TJ Shope, Rep. Gail Griffin, State Rep. Julie Willoughby and many more. It was great to hear Arizona leaders speak with one voice on our goals of clean air and a growing economy. It was refreshing to hear from EPA on their understanding of Arizona’s unique issues and approach to solutions. There are show meetings and there are work meetings- This was a work meeting and it could not have been more productive and fruitful. Again thank you to Senator Kelly, EPA and others for helping us put this together. #manufacturing #epa #cleanair #ozone #policymatters #solutions

Great discussion today with US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin and Sen. Mark Kelly, who joined Arizona business leaders for a roundtable on air quality regulations and their impact on economic growth. Arizona’s job creators are committed to both clean air and a strong economy. Today’s meeting reinforced the need for balanced, practical, and science-driven policies that protect air quality without stifling innovation and investment. We appreciate Administrator Zeldin for taking the time to hear directly from the business community, and we look forward to continuing the conversation on solutions that keep Arizona competitive.

?? Setting the record straight. Danny Seiden tackles the facts on Arizona’s water & energy leadership—and breaks down how an out-of-state union is abusing our ballot process to block a $1B+ expansion from a homegrown company. This isn’t just about one project. It’s about thousands of jobs, major investment, and the message it sends to businesses considering Arizona. "If it can happen to Axon, it can happen to anyone." ?? Why are we letting a California union push Arizona jobs out the door? It’s time to take back our ballot. In a new column, CEO Danny Seiden breaks down how an out-of-state interest group is hijacking Arizona’s ballot—threatening jobs, investment, and economic growth. “Give them credit; they’re consistent. If a project creates jobs and will enhance the Arizona economy, Worker Power is ready to block it, an odd mission for a group that claims to support the interests of workers. Apparently, no one told them that you can’t have workers without jobs.” MUST READ ?? https://lnkd.in/gKmB9yjj

We and the Arizona Manufacturers Council welcome today’s announcement from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to reconsider the PM 2.5 National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Arizona manufacturers have long raised concerns that these overly restrictive standards threatened economic growth and job creation while providing little environmental benefit. We don't have to choose between job-creating economic development and environmental stewardship; we can have both. We look forward to working with the administration to roll back unnecessary red tape that stifles the U.S.—and Arizona—economies. https://lnkd.in/gB4k5h2R
