A big congratulations to everyone who helped bring "The Hub" in Sunnydale to life! Last week, we proudly celebrated the dedication and grand opening of this vibrant new community center in San Francisco. "The Hub" features a childcare center run by Wu Yee Children’s Services, a Boys & Girls Clubhouse, a state-of-the-art recording studio, a welcoming shared living room and community kitchen, versatile multi-purpose rooms for events and classes, plus study and meeting spaces designed to serve the residents of Sunnydale, Visitacion Valley, and nearby neighborhoods. Congratulations to Satellite Affordable Housing Associates (SAHA) and all involved in the vision, design and construction of The Grinnell affordable housing community! It was a fantastic opening for housing that focusses on families and people with special needs. We are proud to have developed the branding and signage for this important gem. The six-story building includes 63 homes as follows: 18 studio units, 11 one-bedroom units, 33 two-bedroom units and one three-bedroom manager’s unit. The Grinnell celebrates and strengthens the regional community of people with an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD).

It was a wonderful start to the day attending the "Housing is Healthcare" event held by Insight Housing. Congratulations to all those involved! We really appreciated each speakers' perspective on homelessness and the ways in which housing can positively change health outcomes.

It was a pleasure working with the team at Juntos Fruitvale to craft a new logo, website, identity signage, and wayfinding for the final part of a multifaceted transit-oriented mixed-use development created by The Unity Council. This space meets the community’s needs across several dimensions of life. Juntos Fruitvale is located in a former Masonic temple that has been rehabilitated and provides a range of services to support small businesses. These include bilingual technical assistance, consulting, and tools, as well as a variety of accessible office, meeting, and event spaces to rent. https://lnkd.in/gEdGRCYp
