Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have the reluctant duty today to announce that FintechWire and Ares Communications Group are discontinuing operations at this time. We notified our staff yesterday, and shut down our websites, including our publication FintechWire.com and our corporate site, AresCommGroup.com. This decision has not been an easy one, mainly because of the great response we have received from the marketplace and the signs of early success that we have seen just two months after the launch of our site (and in spite of a busy holiday season and New Year).? To all of those contributors, friends, business associates, colleagues and pending business partners, we thank you for all of your support in our early endeavors.?We know that this business was tracking well, and it was all due to the support you have provided.?As always, I am humbled and indebted to the graciousness and trust that my long-term business associates and friends have extended to me. ? Though I am electing not to go into the details behind this decision in a public forum, it was purely a business decision that I felt necessary at this time.?Please know that this had nothing to do with our exceptional staff, board advisors, contributors, contractors, or anyone else who helped us create and build ACG and FintechWire over this past year. ?
