#ProjectSpotlight - Here's a look at a recent project AREHNA completed in Boca Raton. ?? The team started off the Geotechnical Investigation by collecting sediment samples around various locations surrounding the bridge piers. They concluded the investigation with a 85' bridge boring. We love all of our projects, but it's a cherry on top when they're in locations like these! ?? AREHNA is fortunate enough to be working on SR A1A not only in Palm Beach County but St Lucie County as well. Take a look at some of these great shots from this weekend! One of our favorite events every year - FUTURE CITY ?? This past weekend, AREHNA had the pleasure of sponsoring and participating in our local Future City competition featuring over 29 teams! Future City is a Middle School STEM Project that students from all across the nation participate in. This years theme was "Above the Current" & with that came some impressive floating cities. Each team presented their model to a panel of judges, hitting on key features of their city while answering any questions. Special award judges simultaneously circulated the gym to talk to students about the work they've done and to test them just a little. ?? The five finalists then had to present their model on stage with a microphone. This can be quite daunting for some, but these students knocked it out of the park! Other local companies joined AREHNA in sponsoring the event, as well as volunteering their time to judge the cities themselves. We cannot thank everyone enough! A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Director of Engineering at Port Tampa Bay, Mr. Jose De Jesus, P.E.. Mr. De Jesus shared an interactive presentation about the vital importance & functionality of Port Tampa Bay. He left the students with some key insights on the importance of doing what you love & staying open minded. Thank you again to everyone who participated & volunteered! The educators, the students, the judges, the sponsors, the faculty members of Thurgood Marshall Middle school & everyone in between! These types of events wouldn't be possible without EVERYONE.
