The Ardurra team was proud to be recognized last Friday night at ACEC Georgia Engineering Excellence Awards Gala as a key teaming partner with Freese and Nichols on the award-winning Eastern Regional Infrastructure (ERI) project for Gwinnett County! Our team designed the 14-MGD Apalachee River Wastewater Pump Station for this innovative $125M design-build project that combines critical water infrastructure with recreational amenities, earning an Envision Silver Award for sustainability. The project also included 21,800 LF of 16-inch water mains, 35,000 LF of 24-, 30- and 36-inch gravity sewers, 32,500 LF of 20-inch parallel, 2,500 LF of 30-inch force main, a 3.5-mile greenway/trail system, and stormwater and roadway improvements. We’re proud to announce that our Runway Pavement Rehabilitation and Realignment project at the Barwick-LaFayette Airport, LaFayette, GA, received recognition at last Friday night's ACEC Georgia Engineering Excellence Awards! This collaborative effort transformed one of Georgia's lowest-rated runways into a model of SAFETY and SUSTAINABILITY. We shifted the entire runway 15 feet to address railroad clearance issues while implementing innovative Full Depth Reclamation techniques that recycled existing materials and reduced the environmental impact. Now part of Ardurra, WK Dickson’s award-winning legacy continues to thrive, strengthening our shared dedication to delivering top-tier infrastructure solutions.
