The ARDS Alliance is honored to announce the establishment of the ARDS Alliance Andrew Tod Thompson Foundation Family Support Grant. This initiative is dedicated to providing financial assistance to families who have lost a loved one to ARDS. The grant is named in memory of Andrew Tod Thompson, who tragically passed away from ARDS complications on November 27, 2022, at the age of 23. The ARDS Alliance Andrew Tod Thompson Foundation Family Support Grant is available to families who have experienced the loss of a loved one due to ARDS in the last 12 months. To apply, interested individuals can contact the ARDS Alliance by calling (630)492-1122 or emailing [email protected]. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the organization encourages families in need to reach out for support.

Patients diagnosed with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) face immense challenges, not only physically but also emotionally.
