Ardent Company is pleased to announce the successful completion of its US Route 1 Improvements project in College Park, Maryland. The $57M, nearly 5-year long project drastically transformed and modernized 1.5 miles of the US Route 1 running through the campus of University of Maryland. A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday Nov. 9 was attended by the Mayor of College Park, President of University of Maryland, State Senators, County Councilmembers, and the Administrator of Maryland State Highway Administration. The local community was there to celebrate the achievement of this milestone. Ardent Company self-performed more than 80% of construction of this large and complex project.
