ArcWest Architects is an architectural firm in Denver Colorado established in 2006 by veteran architects Todd Heirls and Kevin Anderson. The company expanded its capacity to provide a full range of architectural and consulting services with the addition of Partner/Principal Robin Adams in 2007. ArcWest Architects focuses our regional work on commercial architecture, residential architecture and light industrial projects. We have experience in all phases of design starting with feasibility studies, master planning, schematic design, design development and construction drawings required for regulatory approvals, permits and construction. Other complimentary services, such as 3D visualization, art renderings, project management, engineering coordination and construction administration compliment our base services. This (House Bill 24-1152 ) requires jurisdictions to remove “restrictive design or dimension standards”. Note: This is like Oregon and Washington. To remove “restrictive design or dimension standards “, subject jurisdictions must: § Allow an ADU of up to at least 500 sq ft. § Not require off-street parking § Not require the owner to occupy the property. § Reduce side and rear setbacks to 5ft (with some sub-optimal caveats) § Not have minimum lot size requirements § Not have special design standards for prefab ADUs (though Building Code standards will still be enforced) #ArcWestADU #ArcWestArchitects #DesignbyArcWest

New (and cool) ADU project has been submitted to the City & County of Denver for Permitting. Construction is tentative for early Spring contingent upon review process and timeline. Camerata Homes has been selected to be the GC to perform the construction build. Structural Engineering was completed by (AEI) Anchor Engineering.
