This Employee Appreciation Day, we took the time to celebrate the hardworking and dedicated employees who make ASRC a great place to work. We kicked off the morning by making the rounds with coffee and donuts, served by HR and Senior Leadership, including President and CEO Rex A. Today, we celebrate the legacy of Elizabeth Wanamaker Peratrovich – a civil rights champion who was instrumental in the passage of Alaska’s Anti-Discrimination Act of 1945. May her courage continue to inspire us all.

On this day in 1988, President Reagan signed the amendments to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) into law, ensuring Alaska Native corporations would be owned and controlled by Alaska Native people. One year later, ASRC became the first Alaska Native corporation to open enrollment to North Slope I?upiat descendants – allowing our leaders and shareholders to chart a deliberate path of growth over the last 37 years.
