If so, you'd be joining Gen Zs who have started to connect emotionally with AI personalities. ??Gen Z is the loneliest and most socially isolated generation — and that was true even before the pandemic. Now, AI is filling the gap they're looking for of engaged, understanding, and supportive friends, companions, therapists, and even mentors. What this says about culture: ??For Zs bonding with tech is a no-brainer -?the parasocial relationships with content creators and internet celebrities was a natural stepping stone to get to tech. ??Tech-enabled connection > Tech-enabled isolation - AI tools are helping users flex their social skills, which (hopefully) they can use to build sustainable social infrastructure in the real world too ??Escapism gets intimate - In an era of social polarization and cancel culture, socializing in a controlled environment feels like a safer option. Yeah, college students love free sh*t. But a free live music experience? That's next level. This semester, we partnered with Tinder and brought Gunna and GloRilla to the campus that sent the most Likes (and Nopes) on the app. ?? ?? Swipe Off got students hyped on campuses all over the US and built up to a concert for the winning school - Temple. Temple University showed up and showed out with over 3000 students in attendance. We're beyond proud of our team that worked on this and our incredible partners at Tinder Dominick Lewis, Elizabeth W., and Devin Colleran
