Alissa joins us with a wealth of experience and a unique skill set that will significantly enhance our opportunity to provide developers with effective Design Guidelines, whether from scratch or as an update to existing Guidelines. Alissa's professional journey is impressive and diverse. She has worked in property appraisal and played a pivotal role in sales and marketing at the renowned Austin architecture firm, Kipp Flores Architects. This experience equipped her with a keen understanding of market research and feasibility analyses for residential projects. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Urban Studies, Alissa also holds certifications in Architecture and Business. This multidisciplinary foundation allows her to approach real estate challenges from multiple angles, ensuring comprehensive and well-rounded solutions for our clients. Beyond her professional achievements, Alissa is a published author and passionate remodeler. Her commitment to sustainable practices, including recycling, reflects her conscientious approach to real estate development—an ethos that resonates strongly with our firm's values. What sets Alissa apart is her holistic perspective on real estate consultancy. She not only possesses technical expertise but also brings a creative vision rooted in practical experience. Architectural Plan Review, a full-service architectural control company, is adding to its bench strength with the addition of Alissa Dyal as Guidelines Development Director. On the heels of the company’s new expansion, Alissa will oversee the creation of architectural design guidelines for APR at a national level.?Her role will enhance APR’s capabilities and support the MPC developer base by leveraging APR’s bespoke architectural review platform and exceptional service track record. Alissa?is an expert in residential architecture and construction, a result of over 20 years of consulting for developers and residential investors at various stages (feasibility through occupancy).?In her previous work in an architectural firm, she analyzed market trends and defined product programs for homebuilders.?Having encountered the challenges and unforeseen outcomes of design regulations firsthand, she will now apply this perspective to her work with APR, ensuring that the design guidelines process is approached with the community vision in mind.
