We were approached by a client with a Tudor style home but from years of exterior renovations lacked the traditional slates seen most often as the dominant design feature. Built in the early 1920s, this house was one of the original houses in the neighborhood. Within our research we found a photo where the entire neighborhood is empty except two houses. This house is at the top left. The goal of the project was to enlarge the second floor and decompartmentilize the first floor. Through several design iterations, the final layout was accepted. Last week the Certificate of Completion was issued and the owners couldn’t be more thrilled to move in and make family memories here. See the before and after photos. Location: Yonkers, NY
