What an #inspiring day we had at the E2C: Coffee & Connections at DAAP! From giving real world advice on co-op and industry opportunities, to reviewing resumes and portfolios, we got a taste of what students in the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning program are producing—and the level of excellence is OUTSTANDING. ?? Claire Van Horn, Interior Designer at archall and UC DAAP alum, has this piece of advice for architecture and design students as they prepare to enter the workforce: “Start building your connections now! When you’re in a field that offers co-op programs, you’ll have opportunities to work in numerous fields—multi-family, commercial, hospitality. It was an absolute honor to prep, cook, and serve over 50 meals at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio! A huge thank you to Head Chef Blair Arms for her incredible dedication in planning meals, cooking, and training volunteers—she is a V.I.P. in the #Columbus community! ?? Amelia Dewey, Interior Designer and Rice Pilaf Stirrer, encourages everyone to make time to volunteer at #RMHC in Columbus, especially with Chef Blair leading the kitchen. “Volunteering at the Ronald McDonald is so much fun!
