Texas A&M Arch4Health will hold a workshop on Friday, November 1st, in collaboration with Page focusing on Designing the Operating Rooms of the Future as part of the graduate-level Healthcare Design Studio led by Dr. Roxana Jafari. The workshop employs full-scale physical mock-ups to evaluate and refine innovative concepts for the operating room (OR) of the future. Using scenario-based simulations within these mock-ups, students, faculty, and end-users will evaluate design iterations for the OR layout and integration of advanced technological interventions to enhance efficiency and safety for both staff and patients. Insights and findings from this workshop will inform the design of an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center in Houston, TX.
