As I reflect on the past week, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and pride for the incredible moments we shared as an Arch Grants Community. Tuesday, we hosted Founder Summit, where over 50 Arch Grants companies gathered to connect, learn, and inspire one another. The energy and collaboration in the room were nothing short of electric. Wednesday was Demo Day, where our Founders shone with corporate partners and investors from around the Midwest. Watching the bridges being built and opportunities being created reminded me why this work matters so deeply. And last night, we closed it all with neXus, our annual gala—a celebration of innovation and impact. Over 850 supporters filled Union Station to honor the bold ideas and relentless drive that are shaping the future of this region. None of this would have been possible without the unparalleled diligence and hard work of the Arch Grants team. Kathy McCadden, MA, Alfred Jackson, CeCe Mingo, Chris Reimer, Julie Kinsella, Lauren Dittmeier, Betsy Barton, each of you took on an ambitious week of events with grace, passion, and precision. I am humbled by your commitment to this mission and truly honored to have you as collaborators on this amazing journey. A heartfelt thank you to Maxine Clark, who exemplifies leadership and vision in all that she does, and to our 2024 Entrepreneur Awardee, Bob Clark, whose legacy continues to transform St. Louis. Bob’s story, highlighted last night, serves as a powerful reminder of the impact one person can have on a community. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement as Bob announced a $1 million (!!!) matching challenge gift to Arch Grants to ensure our work continues for the long-term. Finally, a special shout-out to Pierre Paul whose energy and charisma was nothing short of spectacular as the event emcee. This week was more than a series of events; it was a celebration of what’s possible when a city comes together to dream, innovate, and invest in the future. St. Louis, we have so much to be proud of—and so much more to accomplish. Thank You to EVERYONE who has supported, engaged and amplified our work - you are Arch Grants.
