Arc is an award-winning, nationally recognized after school and experiential education provider in southern California. We bridge the opportunity gap by creating transformational learning opportunities that empower youth to realize their full potential. Arc is proud to offer a variety of programs for K-12 youth, as well as college-aged students and working professionals. The services we provide range from after school comprehensive programs to leadership development retreats featuring adventure activities. In each of our programs, we place an emphasis on experiential learning, life skills acquisition and team building, as well as engagement with the natural world and the local community.

CalSAC has launched the?Teens Advocating for Civic Action (TACA)?with a 2-day Training of Program Leaders on October 2nd - 3rd in Torrance. We were thrilled to have the attendance of program leaders from partner organizations such as Arc After School & Experiential Education, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles, Bay Area Community Resources (BACR), EduCare Foundation, and Woodcraft Rangers. The TACA Training of Program Leaders aims to deepen participants' understanding of civic engagement, movement building, and youth activism. It builds leadership and advocacy skills, increases confidence in facilitating the TACA program, and fosters a sense of community among program leaders.
