The MRL + CET Design Challenge results are in and we're honored to be featured so prominently in the 1st place winning design along with Encore Seating! Congrats to all the winners and a big thanks to everyone who participated.
The My Resource Library + CET Configura Design Challenge results are IN!! Taking first prize is Rosie M. with Forward Space, LLC. The judges, Kari Anderson, Kaylie Tucker and Alexandra Tseffos had this to say about Rosie's designs....."Rosie's winning submission stood out for its innovative approach to higher education space design. By prioritizing flexibility and functionality, the design offered a variety of seating options, access to technology, and secluded study areas. The space's cohesive aesthetic, characterized by a blend of natural elements like plants, acoustic solutions, diverse textures, and architectural details created a stimulating and inspiring environment for students. Additionally, the high-quality renderings provided eye-level perspectives, immersing the viewer in the spaces." Congratulations Rosie!!! Naples airport in Southeastern Florida recently underwent a coastal contemporary renovation that included improvements to the terminal, waiting areas, pilots' lounge and an expanded passenger lounge area. We were excited to be included on the project, which featured our Uptown Social, Avelina and Chatter collections as well as Chirp guest chairs by @encoreseating. Since its inception in 2000, Arcadia and Encore have been proud supporters of The Common Thread for the Cure, a nonprofit foundation that provides financial assistance to help offset the stresses that come with breast cancer diagnosis, such as paying medical deductibles, securing housing during treatment away from home, and assisting with insurance costs, to name just a few. Anyone affiliated with the industry is eligible to request a grant for him or herself, or for an immediate family member. We are honored to stand alongside this vital organization in its mission to provide hope, support, and relief to our industry peers and their families as they navigate the challenges of breast cancer.
