The fact that one of the world's most popular games has an educational version, with 35 million students around the world already licensed to use it, yet it’s still not the #1 go-to choice for schools, favoring other "gamified" platforms; boggled our minds back in 2023. Today, less than a year later, I was excited to share our progress at Arcademy in an interview with the Jerusalem Post, speaking to Irit Skulnik about the problem and how we are addressing it with our platform, which is drastically streamlining the use of Minecraft Education in classrooms by teachers. 'Transforming Education through Gaming' That's the headline Channel 13 chose for the item about our partnership with the City of Petah Tikva and the Innovation House. Together, we created an initiative where students choose landmarks from the city and recreate them within the Minecraft game using our platform. One of the most satisfying moments in the interview was seeing Michal, a teacher in the project who uses our platform, telling the reporter how using our platform really helps her, makes it easier, and allows her to teach with Minecraft easily in the classroom.

- Witnessing the quietest students step into leadership roles and thrive is the ultimate testament to the power of Minecraft in the classroom! Schools in Petach Tikwa Municipality participated in a two-month challenge where each school chose a part of the city, built a 1:1 recreation of it, and reinvented it to make it greener, safer, and more accessible all in Minecraft Education! In the finals, eight selected schools showcased their projects and processes in front of a jury leading to one winning school that rebuilt the city's zoo with an extraordinary emphasis on sustainability and innovation. The teachers, some already familiar with Minecraft Education, used Arcademy, which made it much easier and saved considerable of time in managing the Minecraft sessions. Educating through popular video games, does it make sense given the increasing screen time among children? The answer to this question actually leads to another question: Is our current approach in schools enough to effectively guide and inspire children toward educational goals? When we look at the average classroom, we often see that the answer is no. Using video games in the classroom offers a powerful tool, to leverage students' interests to make learning more engaging and successful, alongside traditional teaching methods.
