We’re excited to share a significant milestone in our journey toward more sustainable, low-carbon development. As of October 11th, our GHG emission scopes 1, 2, and 3 targets have been officially validated by The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTI). We target an absolute reduction of 42% in scopes 1 & 2 aligned with the global 1.5°C trajectory, and 25% of specific scope 3 categories by 2030, from a 2021 base year. Additionally for scope 3, we're committed to onboarding the majority of our customers and suppliers to set SBT-aligned GHG reduction targets. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTI) is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.
