Arc of Meriden-Wallingford, Inc. was organized in 1952 by parents of children with developmental disabilities. Today the Arc is a comprehensive, full-service, community-based agency. The Arc is a preferred agency in the field of human services; well known for its flexibility, advocacy, promoting choice, and self-determination. Our commitment to provide high levels of service for people with disabilities, alternative options in programs, and highly experienced leadership is recognized within our community and surrounding towns. MidState Arc has created the Assistive Technology Training Center to ensure people with barrier issues can live, work and play independently Mission: To support and advocate for children and adults with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential and become accepted and respected members of their community and to advocate and support their families
