Scarlet Oak School had a BLAST yesterday celebrating our 60th Anniversary AND the groundbreaking for our upcoming renovation project! ?? ?? Highlights included learning about the history of Scarlet Oak School from our Superintendent Dr. Sala, a special performance of “60 Years and Counting” by the Scarlet Oak Singers, and a countdown to breaking ground on our renovation. Guests who helped us break ground included Dave Termunde, MEd, MBA, CISSP, PMP, Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Andrew Ziegler, Assistant Superintendent of Finance/CSBO, Mrs. Sylvia Avila, KHS Principal, Ms. Camille Hogan, Director of Teaching & Learning, Mr. Scot Pierce, Principal at Large, Dr. Andrea Sala, Superintendent of Schools, Mr. David Evans, APMS Principal, Mr. Frederick Baumann, APMS Assistant Principal, Mr. David Rana, Board of Education Vice President, Mrs. Tina Moslander, Board of Education President, and Mr. Tom Flynn, AES & SOS Principal. We are incredibly excited about everything that’s in store for Scarlet Oak School, and immensely grateful to work alongside teachers, parents, and a community that is so dedicated to helping our school grow and our students succeed. ?? #SOS60th #APSD145
