Ayer tuve la oportunidad de participar en el foro "Sin Miedo a Equivocarse", un espacio en el que reflexionamos sobre la importancia de la salud mental y el poder de compartir nuestras historias más personales. Tuve la oportunidad de contar una experiencia que impactó profundamente mi vida, tanto a nivel profesional como personal, y aunque fue un reto, me dejó grandes aprendizajes. Quiero agradecer al equipo de Inspira Sara Donado Ana Ojeda Hess Arthur Spinola por invitarme a este foro y por crear espacios donde la vulnerabilidad se transforma en una verdadera fortaleza. Es un privilegio formar parte de una organización que apuesta por programas que desarrollan el liderazgo humano y empoderan el talento femenino. ?? ???? Un agradecimiento especial a mi coach, Arboleda Coaching quien ha sido una guía increíble durante las últimas semanas. Inspirational and constructive day at “Education for Employability of Talent without Gender and Generation” organized by EJE&CON Asociación Espa?ola de Ejecutiv@s y Consejer@s ??????. As a member of EJE&CON and the forum, it was a privilege to hear prominent professionals debate the importance of equality in education and employment. Mercedes Valcárcel, PhD and Valeria Sánchez led the event, providing valuable insights. Lucia Cobreros (Esade) highlighted how gender biases affect grades in mathematics and sciences from an early age, steering girls away from #STEM careers. Miguel Sánchez Galindo (DigitalES) addressed the lack of STEM vocations among women, with only 15% in the tech sector, and the efforts to close this gap through programs with Cisco. Ignacio González Cabello (Fundación Telefónica) presented their programming campus, which has increased female participation from 8% to 30%, and their women-specific training programs. Marta García-Valenzuela (Talengo) emphasized that high-performance teams are those with diverse profiles. Amongst the key takeaways, I would like to highlight the need to combat biases from childhood and the importance of continuous and adapted training to promote equal opportunities in all sectors.
