Our design for Dior Femme has garnered several awards honoring the innovative techniques deployed in this project! We were awarded The Architect's Newspaper 2023 Best of Design Award in the commercial retail category, the 2023 LIT Design Awards Award for Retail Lighting Design, a Special Prize for an Exterior in the 2023 Prix Versailles, and we were shortlisted for the 2023 Dezeen Awards in the architectural lighting category. These awards showcase the importance of critical engagement with a brand's traditions and highlight our team's success in blending historical motifs with contemporary design language and cutting-edge technology. At Aranda\Lasch, we bring form and substance to the immaterial. Through the creation of objects and environments, our studio is dedicated to the highest level of craft in both material and digital languages. Our wide-ranging work, from generative software to physical architecture, reflects a critical engagement with making in an age of algorithmic tools by invoking long-standing histories, cultural traditions, and material responsibility to our projects. The resulting body of work reveals a deep investigation of contemporary culture, its material possibilities, and the algorithmic logic that underpins it. Located in New York and Tucson, our studio is led by Benjamin Aranda, Joaquin Bonifaz, and Chris Lasch. Our work is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago, among others. We have exhibited internationally across wide-ranging institutions, and we are represented by Volume Gallery. Recognitions include the United States Artists Award, the Architecture League Emerging Voices Award, and the Graham Foundation.
