This #MissionMonday we’re celebrating Gretchen Slussar for 11 years of incredible impact with Aramark! Starting in 2005 as a Correctional Food Service Manager at Madison Correctional, Gretchen transitioned to Aramark in 2013 when we partnered with the OH Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (OHDRC). Over the years, she served as Food Service Director at Madison, London, and Pickaway Correctional before stepping into her current role as IN2WORK and Retail Manager in 2022. One of the highlights of Gretchen's work is the impact of the IN2WORK program, where incarcerated individuals have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, mentor peers, and set goals for a better future. “I believe that IN2WORK has changed the culture in our kitchens. There are so many incarcerated individuals that are utilizing the new skills they learned from IN2WORK to benefit the food service departments.
