Role: Istio Service Mesh Expert (Contract-to-Hire)

As a Kubernetes and Istio expert at AR3Systems, you'll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and operationalizing Istio Service Mesh on Kubernetes for our esteemed clientele. Collaborating closely with both development and operations teams, you'll ensure seamless application development and deployment within Kubernetes environments. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds - the dynamic energy of our Greater Seattle hub, coupled with the flexibility of remote work arrangements.

Qualifications:
???????????????5+ years of Kubernetes expertise coupled with 2+ years of hands-on experience with Istio Service Mesh
???????????????Certifications in Kubernetes (CKS) and Istio (ICA or Tetrate) are a significant advantage
???????????????Proven track record in designing and implementing containerized applications
???????????????Proficiency in scripting and development languages such as Python or Go
???????????????Experience with GitOps, Observability, Helm, and ArgoCD
???????????????Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
???????????????Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
???????????????Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
???????????????Bonus points for experience with Azure and AKS

Salary:
Based on experience, you can anticipate a competitive hourly rate ranging between $135-$165, or an annual salary of $155k with comprehensive benefits. This is a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, with no part-time or alternative work arrangements available.
