Last Tuesday, Arête hosted Jolana x Wangda x Arête, in partnership with our friends at Social Studies and HAUS iNCUBATOR. This was part of our NYFW event series! To give some background... Jolana is a chic NYC handbag brand founded by a mother-daughter duo a year ago. They use lambskin leather and produce super small batches. In our opinion, they're putting the Fendi Baguette bag to shame. WANGDA was founded by Wangda himself in the middle of COVID. Originally from China, he struggled to find work when the world was under lockdown and decided to pursue his true passion. Today, he's becoming known for high quality tailoring, taking men and women from day to night with one outfit. Last weekend, we hosted an intimate Paper Doll Showroom with a couple of our partner brands! As kids, we loved playing with paper dolls, so we wanted to bring back the nostalgia of arts and crafts with fashion. The best part? All the brands used on the paper dolls during the event were available to try live and could instantly be shopped on arête!
