Automating Identification of Methane for Optical Gas Imaging
关于我们
COMPANY: Climate-tech computer vision pure-software startup founded in 2023, pioneering a new category of software to make rapid accurate detection of methane leaks easy and feasible at billions of industrial components worldwide. FOCUS: Exclusively on leak detection in optical gas imaging (OGI), and stay clear off quantification, hardware, equipment, device bundling, consultancy and services. TEAM: Babur Ozden, the founder, with experience in tech startups, leads Aquanta with Marcus Martinez as the inventor. Dan Zimmerle, Director of METEC, and Iain Cooper, CEO of SeekOps are advisors. INVESTORS: Chevron Technology Ventures, Ecosphere Ventures and Odyssey Energy Advisors. Recipient of two non-dilutive cash awards via National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) of US DOE. SUPPORTERS: Accepted in 2024 to two prestigious industrial tech accelerators, the Chevron Studio Field Testing Program, and Rose Rock Bridge Ascend Program. OGI. Optical gas imaging is the largest and fastest growing global ecosystem that chases methane leaks visually with OGI cameras. OGI video cameras are used in hand-held, on drones and robots, and for ground based continuous monitoring. PAIN: We are addressing a ubiquitous pain-point in detecting industrial methane leaks with OGI cameras. Today, identifying the presence of gas leaks in the field of view of camera solely relies on human intervention and interpretation. PROBLEM: In the US alone, several million inspections are conducted annually using OGI. Due to the pain-point, at each inspection, one or more leaks go undetected, and number of components that can be inspected are restricted. SOLUTION: Our product, NetxteN app automates detection and increases detection sensitivity, range and accuracy. Its use will increase the effectiveness of the OGI ecosystem worldwide in detecting methane without additional Capex or Opex increases. COMPATIBILITY: The app works with raw OGI video independent of the cameras make

We passed the 1,600 marker! NETxTEN has now been tested with 1,600 OGI footage from the real-world inspections conducted with a variety of camera brands, handheld and drone-mounted, and cooled and uncooled. It detected all the leaks that were found by experts at those inspections, and found the ones that went undetected.?We forge ahead, full speed. ? About NETxTEN. Add-on app to optical gas imaging ecosystem, automating methane leak detection. Its use does not require Capex. Installed in minutes, works out of the box. No cloud, no need for data storage or connectivity.
