According to the latest reports from IFFO – The Marine Ingredients Organization, fishmeal production in January 2025 increased by 75% compared to the same month in 2024, driven by a 300% surge in Peru. Chile, the USA, Spain, and several African countries also showed positive trends. As for fish oil, global production rose by 71%, again led by Peru, with most regions reporting growth—except for Northern European countries. ?? On the other hand, in China, aquafeed production and sales declined in 2024 due to unfavorable weather conditions and weak farm-gate prices. ??
